I've now tested both Suno and Udio and, as a composer of experimental music, I prefer Udio on every level:

- better sound quality
- accurately renders specific instruments (bcl, cello, harpsichord, sax etc)
- greater sense of musical coherence
etc.

However... neither tool makes music I would actually listen to as is.

I've gotten some satisfactory results I can chill to (and ear worm their way into remembrance a week after I made them). Agree it's a start and requires some final polish for release, I'm aiming for an hour of work to drop at 20kbps for netlabel day 😈
