2/ Broly is a PoC from the StarkWare Exploration team.

It lets you create Bitcoin inscriptions without owning BTC or touching the Bitcoin network.

All the Bitcoin complexity? Abstracted on Starknet.

3/ At its core, Broly runs an order book of inscription requests on Starknet:

> Users sign an inscription request on Starknet,
> an inscriber picks it up and executes it on Bitcoin,
> then proves the transaction happened via smart contracts on Starknet.

It’s that simple.

4/ Why is this great?

Because Broly lets Bitcoin devs integrate inscriptions while removing all Bitcoin complexity, unlocking new use cases such as Pump.fun-style apps, wallets with native inscription support, and more.

5/ Broly is powered by two key infra pieces:

Two open-source Cairo libraries turning Bitcoin into a verifiable playground on Starknet.

6/ Utu Relay = the bridge of truth.

It’s a smart contract on Starknet that verifies Bitcoin transactions and events using storage-proof-like mechanisms.

8/ Both libraries are fully open-source.

While Broly is just a PoC, we’re open-sourcing the whole stack to let the community collaborate, play with it, and build whatever they want.

It runs Bitcoin’s consensus logic on Starknet and verifies Bitcoin state transitions without trusted relayers or oracles.
