Western countries created their dependency on China during the last 100 years. Relying on them was a good way for capitalist countries to do capitalism. You build your products cheaper, and call sell more of them to more people, with better returns and optimized costs. Western countries are basically behind the return of China as the world economic power. Happy for their development. Question now. What happens when you untie these dependencies? Does China rely on the others for their development? No longer? Also seen that they are facing huge crisis in real estate. Still unclear to me.
