this may not be the most popular opinion right now in light of the plan for next $degen season, but man I hate staking in general i just don't know what problem it solves other than artificially locking up supply temporarily my father hated staking my grandfather hated staking i come from a long line of people who hate staking

I mean, I guess you agree that staking ETH has a usecase, right, to secure the network. Here the usecase is to make the tipping game more sustainable. It directly impacts how long it could theoretically run for by lowering supply, and basically rewarding people who āproveā theyāre here for the ālong runā. Itās definitely a trade-off, but I think itās a legitimate one. Maybe Iām missing something lol.

fair securing the eth network via staking i support, especially over PoW, but i think that's an outlier vs most nft and token staking lmao
