Here's everything you need to know about the Participating Entities in Diva Staking. They're split into two major categories: ▶ High-level entities:** Stakers, Operators, Nodes, Validator pools, Diva Smart Contracts ▶ Low-level entities:** Protocol support roles (Prover, Oracle, Submitter), DKG nodes (Participant, Coordinator) and DVT nodes (Signer, Aggregator). 1/ High-level entities: STAKERS Liquid Stakers can deposit ETH to receive divETH, a token that automatically accrues staking rewards. No minimum ETH needed, making staking accessible. divETH is instantly transferable and tradable. Rewards or penalties adjust daily through a rebasing mechanism. divETH can be wrapped into wdivETH for broader DeFi use cases.

/ OPERATORS Non-custodial Operators lock ETH as collateral and run at least one Node. They earn rewards for correct validation duties. Operators manage Key Shares, requiring at least 3 out of 5 shares to agree for consensus.

/ NODES Diva Nodes are run by Operators on their hardware to participate in Ethereum staking. These nodes coordinate validation tasks in a decentralized fashion, with roles detailed in the low-level entities section. Operators can run multiple nodes under one identity to manage workload distribution.

/ VALIDATOR POOLS A pool is a distributed validator managed by multiple nodes, enhancing security and fault tolerance. This setup ensures that the operation of a validator isn't dependent on a single node or operator.

/ DIVA SMART CONTRACTS They manage the protocol's operations on Ethereum, overseeing the flow of ETH, tracking validator performance, and issuing divETH. Key components include: ▶ Accounting: Manages balances and validator lifecycle. ▶ Performance: Tracks validator efficiency for rewards distribution. ▶ divETH: Represents staked ETH in a liquid form. ▶ MEV Support: Integrates MEV-Boost for additional rewards distribution. ▶ Validator Management: Handles validator status and lifecycle.

/ Low-Level Entities ▶ PROVER - Verifies events on the Beacon Chain like DKG registration, validator exits, and block proposals, ensuring correct processing and integrity. ▶ ORACLE - Provides critical data to the smart contract, such as total balance of Diva validators and operator rewards based on performance metrics. ▶ SUBMITTER - Sends transactions to the smart contract based on P2P Pub/Sub channel data, including DKG proposals, registrations, and activations.

/ DKG NODES ▶ PARTICIPANT - Nodes that aim to join new validators by contributing to Distributed Key Generation (DKG) processes, using lottery tickets based on their collateral. ▶ COORDINATTOR - Manages the DKG process by selecting participants, processing requests, and ensuring the final key generation result is communicated for validator registration.

/ DVT NODES ▶ SIGNER - Holds a fragment of a BLS key, validates duties when proposed by an Aggregator, ensuring collective action within a validator pool. ▶ AGGREGATOR - A specialized Signer that proposes and aggregates signatures for validator duties, elected through a consensus protocol for each pool.
