How do you monetize though? That's the real issue, especially if it's not venture-scale.

- candidates' view of their resume vs recruiters vs HMs - tailoring resume for each job vs optimizing resume to apply for broader categories - how to impress when there are no brand name companies (read: early startups) on resume on another note, how to convey your unique abilities that can't be displayed on resume

funny how UI/UX innovations tend to be written off as moats but in reality can be truly powerful

Mainstream doesn't care about whether the app is web3 or web2. What they do care about is if it solves a real problem for them. Unfortunately, beyond finance, there still don't seem to be any meaningful solutions people can interact with yet. Why there is no pmf yet beyond finance/infra deserves an essay.

Great read! Amused to see how you consider yourself the talkative version of Common Man in RK Laxman's cartoon in The Times of India. Was there ever a subculture/trend you got right but the majority of people thought was wrong? Maybe something you thought would go viral but didn't?

If you hadn't raised outside capital, how would you have thought about monetizing or making $$ to survive with farcaster while bootstrapping given the current macroeconomic climate?

Also, membership dev issues aren't taken seriously by dev teams when core business is different. Tracking points earned tied rightly with money spent is critical. Tracking this onchain is easier and more transparent.

online membership data is subject to manipulation by centralized entities. eg, starbucks user app shows deals that seem to go missing on store operator's app. Maybe due to data source being different for both interfaces. onchain data solves this.

I noticed Optimism's revenue and usage chart significantly go up and to the right in the last 2-3 months Polygon's numbers feel like mostly they are driven by enterprise partnerships as versus optimism/arbitrum's are driven by devs and smaller projects
