Bitcoin price made history in 2024, and if a recent report is to be believed, the flagship cryptocurrency could reach $150,000 in the first half of 2025 and potentially hit $185,000 by the fourth quarter. Galaxy Research, the research arm of the digital asset management firm Galaxy, released this report last week, and with that, it has aligned itself with another digital asset management firm, VanEck, which has also anticipated Bitcoin appreciating by more than 50% from its current levels by 2025.

A senior executive at Floki Inu, the seventh-largest meme coin by market cap, told Coindesk that the project is in talks with a European exchange-traded fund (ETP) manager and issuer to develop a product that includes FLOKI. He said the fund is likely to be available to investors in the first quarter of the new year on EU stock exchanges. The first market will be the SIX Swiss Exchange.

Bitcoin (BTC) holdings on the Binance exchange have fallen to their lowest level in 2024, according to data from CryptoQuant. The decline began in August and follows a pattern seen in January, after which Bitcoin’s price surged 90%. At the same time, OTC exchanges have also reported significant decreases in their holdings, with 40,000 BTC removed from their balances since November 20. Analysts believe that the decline in holdings reflects growing investor confidence in Bitcoin’s long-term potential and could pave the way for a strong bullish trend. Bitcoin is expected to reach a range of $110,000 to $130,000 by the end of January.
