Today it is Hinton & Hopfield for machine learning, and it’s rooted in Physics, even if in an abstract way. Tomorrow, in a decade or two, it will be for decentralized technologies. Decentralization secured by cryptography is a foundational tech. That Hinton has on multiple times expressed concerns about how concentration (ie centralization) of AI can lead to significant imbalance (which zero sum oriented valley folks don’t like), also points in the direction of why decentralization in all vital areas like finance, computation, AI etc is of critical importance in the next decade

the aarnâuts are here in Singapore > Excited & ready, the team is all set for our launch at Token 2049 on Wednesday, one of the world's largest crypto events! We have a lot planned, including our pre-event collaboration for CapitalX tomorrow, where I will touch upon how tradfi institutions can get exposure to DeFi via tokenised structured products and manage risk. There are more touch points planned for the launch of âfi 802, which as a first AI designed tokenized structured product is a definitive step forward into the next generation of decentralised asset management. Unpopular take: After three crypto cycles, it's clear to me that bear markets are crucial for maturity. Unlike public markets, crypto bull markets can drown us in hype with: - Memecoin mania driven by random celebrities - Influencers/VCs sharing baseless opinions - Low float, high valuation VC junk dumps - A gambling mentality chasing trends Bear markets refocus us on: - Real use cases finding product-market fit - Big-picture vision and tech advancements - Serious projects and teams We closed a big sprint y’day! 🍕 Today at aarnâ Lab, we celebrated with a Bitcoin Pizza Break! Everyone paid using stablecoins or native chain coins. The fact that we all used stablecoins or native coins instead of BTC/WBTC highlights how Bitcoin has evolved into a store of value, rather than a mode of payment for low-value items.
