After 4+ years, I still find it strange / amusing there’s a group of people still here who somehow think Varun and I are not actually interested in building a protocol and it’s all a ruse to do a rug pull a la 2014 Twitter.

If you don’t believe us, why waste your time?

only reason that makes me bullish on farcaster (and the reason i was early and still continue to experiment) is because how merkle team has been open in building the protocol and approached it in first principles. 

i have learned so much just by being a spectator and being on dev calls that I know for a fact that the intentions are aligned. bullish farcaster. bullish merkle.

for the record i’ve never had a 1:1 with anyone from the merkle team. i’m not in any inner circle or cabal and i don’t know them personally. sure being early on the protocol helped but i completely disagree with those saying the team has bad intentions. they’ve consistently shown otherwise.
