i'm a (small) part of the behind-the-scenes talent on Thunderbolts* and i can happily report that it's going to look and feel different than anything from marvel in a long time, in large part because they made a deliberate decision to tap into indie creatives and let them do their thing

some really interesting moves from marvel team lately. can’t wait to see thunderbolts now

they are total pros and care deeply about their fans, i love to see them steering the big ship

love that. was there something that stood out to you about working with the marvel team?

many things, but overall just a culture of keeping the story at the center and they were always receptive to my ideas, even/especially as an outsider

great to hear. just curious, with all the progress in all these ai tooling lately did you see it being used more in any part of the workflow on a large project like this?

nothing visual, in fact they did practical effects wherever possible, it's unusually light on VFX
