And the market rallied. HARD.

Yeah but that time it was a global pandemic that more or less pulled countries together to get through it, this is an isolationist policy that will drive a massive wedge, don't disagree with final outcome necessarily, but this is way different situation

I think the price will resolve im not sure the longer lasting impact will though
