no matter how fun, huge pnl with very low entry cost is not free money someone is losing, or rather someone is paying for early participants to win someone always pays for large gainz, markets are markets

Crypto is skill-based and a small, small group has the lionshare of the skillbase. If you're just a dumb trader like me, you're just throwing actual money away.

Debatable it’s skill based. A lot of grind. Right time right place and / or insider info - cooperation/collusion. Charts tend to follow chart patterns after initial ‘skilled’ entries. TA for the win. Supply demand don’t lie.

skill and luck I would say network matters a lot, conviction & intuition are important elements access to capital as well if you lack access to capital you will need to come up with different abilities

I would argue the real skills needed to make it in crypto are people who will listen to you who you can then dump on well after you've taken profit and that takes a lot of time and planning and contacts. It also takes a distinctive lack of moral and ethicall fiber. It isn't just "muh KOLs" getting away with this type of shit either
