nah i round tripped again made a bunch of money in our 2 week bull run… but lost all that too you know, doubling down on projects that are actually building useful things with token utility ahead of what’s expected to be a generational bull run with a full red sweep & regulatory clarity for the first time since our industry’s inception almost 20 years ago i mean idk, we have frames v2 materializing, agents originating, and meta-setting protocols & games all coming out of fc… we live on a $75 billion pubco chain, home of the fastest growing stablecoin presence in the world, whose CEO is advising the president elect… we have a billion dollar unicorn at our backside with a war chest of capital… i mean idk, i thought the 5k of us here knew this & would protect our assets, but y’all would rather buy back in on a +42% day sometime next week (cope)

yes, this is cope, but there is also an unfortunate amount of truth to this we desperately need another 1,000 “investors” here with 6+ figs in their wallets to stabilize some of our established tokens (truthfully, we need more VCs & an eco fund 😓) there are 5 whales here that both prop up & destroy our entire eco they made all their money being super early on degen, higher, clanker, lum, anon… they continuously pull down from those positions as they rotate into new shitcoins this causes our “blue chips” to breakdown in a choppy manner, which signifies bearish selling (whales exiting) our shrimp then fizzle out as they chase the whales into their next plays i’ve said this before & i’ll say it again, no one who is serious about investing is looking at our ecosystem these charts are bearish & that’s the first thing they will see then they’ll go look at dau growth which has now completely flatlined

some of us non whales will also not deploy much knowing the general games that are played too. I prefer my listed markets where my provable edge exists. only reason i didnt dump everything based on charts was because im in it for the haul . but at a level where marked 0 doesnt kill my family. almost brought a trader friend in during the bull run. thank god I didnt. he wouldnt ever let me live it down.

This is how I'm investing. I'm not selling projects I've invested in because they are super interesting and have potential, or I believe in the builders. But I'm also not betting the house on people I don't really know, in an environment I'm not an expert in. This feels like a testing environment. Things are being built fast, and iterated, and for better or worse, there are many casualties. The time we're spending testing projects, imo, contributes plenty.
