For those who weren’t around in ‘08. 

It was nothing like this. 

Doesn’t mean this is nothing. But the palpable scared across all facets of life was INTENSE. 

I was in apple puts at 90. (I think they had 90 in cash on hand.) I was young and naive. 

An event solves a crises. Wait for the event. (This one is man made by policy.  so it can happen super fast.)

14 - Can’t remember what event solved the euro Greece crises. 
20 - JPow and his horsecock backstopped the world. 

Wait for the whites of the eyes.

Huge banks shuttered overnight. No programs in place. 

The world as we know it teetered on the abyss. 

The idea that you might need physical money was real. And people. Respected people. We’re acting on it.

They pieced together half ass measures. Always one step behind. 

No ‘bazooka’ 

Finally ended  (IMO) when Cerberus forced fed to backstop Chrysler bonds at par. They might have been worth 40 or less. 

At that moment. Bonds were saved and the world became investable again.
