Incredible India India Gate is a majestic war memorial located in New Delhi, India, built to honor the 82,000 Indian soldiers who died during World War I and the Third Anglo-Afghan War. Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and completed in 1931, this 42-meter-high sandstone arch stands at the heart of the city. The monument bears the names of over 13,000 soldiers inscribed on its surface. Beneath its arch lies the Amar Jawan Jyoti, an eternal flame symbolizing the nation’s gratitude to its fallen heroes.
