Whether measured in coffee spoons, counted by pay-checks or sieved grains of sand, put into buckets, time bound by fuzzy prepositions, saved for terminal cycles, calendar bias, turtles called zeno, gregory insisting on leaping occasionals. Zealots who swear on up, telos, counting beans, filing photos, crafting stories. Shit existence is tokenised already. The exchange rate is all out of whack though. Now putting episodes of subjective existence onchain that can be exchanged (my most joyful day, an epic wave, that party you heard about) if we could trade existence that is immersive to the point of empathy. Swap the quanta of my qualia for new flavours. Ensure it is all on-chain (for provenance and for the subgraph) then I say yay. Launch a ‘token’ that is a literal unit of our own reality I would buy in.

I agree, but the issue here is that you are a native (I am perhaps an ex-pat) but for visitors the talk of txns and gas are like Babylonian banter. Foreign and scary. Remember when browsers used to display the calls and handshakes on the bottom frame? Eventually it became ‘loading..’ then we end up trusting the companies over ourselves and suddenly the frog is boiled etc etc

To my annoyance there are some interesting notions buried under the confused pointing and punning. If he wrote less like a precocious labradoodle that just licked the cliff notes of Orwell and history I would give it a Yelp score of 4/7 - might read again but not wouldn’t miss it if I never had. But since he does he gets a solid 3.

Agree.. As I age, I realise how opaque we are to the notional ‘I’ that narrates our lives. Sometimes I have no idea what I think at a moment in time, until I try to write it. Also writing without an audience in mind is always good.
