Great porter if you like bittersweet dark chocolate. Didn’t get much coconut from this though.

Commonwealth makes some of my favorite stouts. Been getting the BA Xmas ones every year for a while cheers

I’ve never been to commonwealth but I get the brews from Dominion, awesome spot with good food as well. I used to go to Aslin for every drop at the OG strip mall joint. Belly Shirts is one of my fav stouts ever

Aslin stout base is goated. All the stouts from this series were insane. Haven’t had them in a minute but imagine they didn’t take as much of a steep decline in quality as the IPAs did. Double Starfish used to be my favorite brew and is now practically undrinkable

dude, I don’t know what happened and I swore it off a couple years ago so maybe I need to try again and it has come back around. Literally the best beer I had ever had to the worst overnight. Strangest phenomena I can remember in the beer world. RAR went through something similar with their IPAs when head brewer left

I’m going to make sure I get a bottle and try more of their stouts just because you said that. You also aren’t the first person who has said that about Aslin IPAs and it makes me judge myself because Double Starfish is still good to me 🤣 I do wish I was into craft beer way back when
