If you really want to break 80, find a practice green where you can pitch from ~60 yards and in. Figure out consistent distances for each wedge at 25% 50% and 75% backswing (or numbers on a clock) Scrambling and removing blow up holes the fastest way π€πΌπ€πΌ

you know my issue 100% lol, I am terrible with my wedges and continually blow opportunities that should be layups from that yardage also doesn't help that I only have one wedge (a used 54) so priority rn is get a higher angle wedge 58/59/60 and then practice over and over

I always have three with mirrored loft spacing: 52 56 60 right now. Good wedge play will consistently shave more strokes off your round than any other facet for players in the 80-90 range imo.

yup I've "solved" my driving in issues in that while I'm not bombing the course, I'm at least getting out into the fairway a good amount of the time and I'm good enough with irons to get around the green but I'm consistently blowing my opportunities to set myself up on the green, this is the way
