in a lot of ways this felt like LIV vs PGA and I believe we were all rooting accordingly. Thing is, the best golfer won this week and that is the beauty of the game. No referees, replays, or teammates to blame it on. Each man for themselves vs the course. Congrats to Bryson, he was nails all week

I do love match play until someone is dusted by the turn. You’re right though his is about as good as you could have hoped for. Scottie has been steaming the drama for some time now. Would love to see a LIV vs PGA style Ryder cup

This is why more match play is needed in golf.  Gotta create hero’s and villains.  NASCAR thrived when it was Gordon vs Earnhardt and we got a bit of that this weekend.  Hell of a finish.  Was cheering for a comeback and something special to happen and got multiples of both, been a while in a major for some drama

Great points tbh. Luckily, I was at a soccer game and didn’t have to watch him choke it away either. Those short putts have stymied rors throughout his career. Seemed like he couldn’t miss for 15 holes

I don't think it has anything to do with LIV; even before LIV existed in a Rory vs Bryson situation most would have rooted for Rory.
Congrats to Bryson but throwing away a major like this from Rory is insane and so painful. Luckly i was sleeping and dind't saw it live.
