Farcaster

I think Farcaster is crypto's first breakout non-financial app with actual staying power.

We've been waiting for a tipping point, and this team / community got it done. Feels very different from any NFT hype, Friendtech, etc.

I think we need to stop saying farcaster is an app. Farcaster is a protocol and warpcast, ECT. are the apps... It's confusing for newbies and inaccurate.

Interests: My wife, Crypto, IT, Gaming, California, economics, and World politics.

dunno man. you're right, but on the other hand most ppl will get more confused when you tell em its a protocol. Maybe for the best if we just pretend farcaster is app, who knows.

Perhaps. That would be better in many ways and worse in some. Complex issue.

Then again people are happily eating and calling cashew nuts nuts, when they are achkshully seeds.

In that case wouldn’t we be better suggesting Warpcast is the app considering they will actually be able to find it in the App Store? 

And just leaving out Farcaster as the abstract part for the nerds to “well achkshully”
