What's the concern? That the bots will start populating the channel? Or that the casters content will get boosted in the channel?

validation for bots/folks using bots, it devalues the work others do and dilutes quality signal

It's a tough problem. We all know our follower counts are inflated by bots. Some people may not be actively using them as much as being farmed by bots after using the ham cannon. In the long run, with the right filters, hopefully we can separate the signal from the noise. Maybe like a SVC filter or something?
