There’s a meadow in my lovely dreamland fair,
Where the wind dances with the tree’s gentle hair,
Casting leopard-like sparkles on the pond's glassy sheen...
A tall, majestic tree, lonely yet grand,
Shadows fall on the world beneath its hand.
One day I’ll lean on the tree’s gentle heart,
Gazing at the valley, where sunlight imparts,
Warming the earth, but never too hot...
I’ll watch as the leaves change, from green to gold bright,
Then deep crimson hues, until none are in sight...
Yet the tree will not perish, where winter won’t creep,
In the roots of my love, where memories sleep.
And when I find myself in the cold, dark mire,
Far from your loving eyes, my heart’s only fire,
I’ll return to this world, with eyes gently closed,
