The Taj Mahal The Taj Mahal Another one of the most amazing and beautiful sights in the world is the Taj Mahal in the city of Agra in India. Taj Mahal is also called the Temple of Love. Shah Jahan, the Mughal emperor, built this temple in 1932 in memory of his love for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is located on the south bank of the Yamuna river. The ivory white color of this building dazzles the viewers from afar. Taj Mahal is one of the masterpieces of Mughal architecture.
