I am a self-taught computer programmer with a 4-year CS degree 😆

But that degree was important, not because it gave me the knowledge, but because if I didn't have that, I'd always doubt myself

this is not convincing enough for me to finish uni

for context ive not attended even 1 day of uni yet, starting this fall, but planning to dropout after 1 year

i’d suggest not dropping out unless you know you are sitting on a rocket ship already

if not already and you think you’ll work hard enough to find that rocket, i’d suggest putting that hard work in managing both uni and work

i know what you’re feeling, it’s a pain wasting away 9-6, but important to take calculated risks
