The single most useful thing anyone can do to help Farcaster is invite 1 person and be their Farcaster sherpa for the first month.

1. Onboard them

2. Start a direct cast with them (make sure they keep notifications on)

3. Start sending them interesting people and casts

4. Answer their questions

5. Encourage them to cast in channels they might have top 10% (or 1% knowledge on)

From an anthropological standpoint, Farcaster is extremely interesting — it’s a social network where people care to listen to the leader vs acting in a free for all.  Reminds me a bit of how Singapore is governed.

Fascinating to watch these dynamics and see if / how they scale.

yeah it's interesting where the players know they're playing a game. Most social networks have users who care about other users. Farcaster users also care about farcaster. imo makes the leader-driven norm setting more effective.

the flip side is the danger of the meta game becoming more interesting than the game
