Margot Robbie joined an amateur hockey league when she first moved to the United States. She always wanted to play ice hockey because she loved The Mighty Ducks, but she played field hockey instead due to Australia's lack of ice. Similar to The Mighty Ducks character Luis Mendoza, she could skate fast but was unable to stop.
