In the days of old, where lanterns burned bright,
A single flame would guide us through the night.
One light, steady, pure, showed the way clear,
In that simple glow, we knew no fear.
Now we stand, bathed in a thousand lights,
But none can guide us through the endless nights.
We chase the sparks, blinding, false, and fast,
Lost in the glow that never lasts.
I yearn for the path, where one flame leads,
Where clarity comes from simple deeds.
Take me back, where the darkness was kind,
For in its depths, I found my mind.
