Ethereum has a different economic model than Bitcoin. Bitcoin reward blocks are divided every four years, but in Ethereum it happens every year. Technically, the programming language used in Bitcoin and Ethereum is different. The cryptographic algorithm of Ethereum is Ethash and the algorithm of Bitcoin is SHA-256.
