Base is known as the base for products such as the Coinbase exchange and an open ecosystem for people who want to create scalable solutions and various decentralized applications on the Ethereum network.  The Base network is developed in cooperation with Optimism layer 2 network on OP Stack.  The Optimism stack is a modular and open-source structure for creating scalable blockchains with the ability to work with each other, and Base's goal is to create a SuperChain by this stack.
