My mother made the best bread rolls 😋 and my oldest sister does them the same. Up until a couple weeks ago, I thought they were my Mum's creation but my sister informed me otherwise!

There was a lady from Mexico that married an old fart from here in the late 60s. She was only 30 when he brought her here, he was 70. They had 3 boys and then he died. And she was stuck here, barely knowing any English. 

My mum had started a little canteen when I was born (around the same time he died) and hired Antonia to work for her. She was an employee for 40 years, retired just before my Mum died. She was awesome! 

And these were HER rolls, not Mum's!!! 🥰 

I'm gonna make them today.
