Today is Red 🔴 "Red Lines" This photo was taken near Dastgerd Prison in Esfahan, Iran, where one of our renowned Iranian rappers, Toomaj Salehi, was being held. Toomaj was detained due to his songs in support of Iranian women during the 'Women, Life, Freedom' uprising. This was photographed on one of the rare days when snow fell in Esfahan, and I remembered Toomaj's love for seeing the city covered in snow. I decided to visit there to feel a bit of the weather that Toomaj was going through behind the prison walls. The "Red Lines" reminded me of all the barriers we had faced as Iranian citizens.
