A military mask or chemical mask is a device used to protect soldiers and military personnel from toxic, chemical, biological and nuclear gases. These masks are designed in such a way that they cover the whole face and they catch through the filters that are built into them. These filters can separate harmful particles and toxic gases from the air and prevent them from entering the respiratory system. Conventional military masks are used with other protective equipment such as chemical and biological resistant clothing to provide security protection.
