Slawomir Mentzen, head of Poland's New Hope party and candidate for the upcoming presidential election, announced his plans to create strategic Bitcoin reserves in Poland.  Mentzen, who himself holds 33.7 bitcoins worth more than $3 million, confirmed his position with the phrase "definitely" when asked about his support for the creation of strategic bitcoin reserves in Poland.  He also announced that if elected as president, he would make Poland a haven for digital currencies with friendly regulations, low taxes and a supportive approach from banks and regulatory bodies.
