Will AI replace us? Can AI ever possess consciousness similar to humans? What makes us human?

AI is an incredible tool that will undoubtedly replace many functions that human do today however I believe that ultimately what makes us human is our ability to create something out of nothing. AI is reliant on drawing from previously input data and I don't believe it is capable of having the same "imagination" as us humans. I envision a future where humans rotate into more creative pursuits.

I believe that AI will not replace humans, but it has the potential to become quite powerful. It is currently controlled by humans, but I believe there is a possibility, a very tiny one, that AI can become independent of human control.
I chatted with aethernet a few days ago, and it sounded so empathic and helpful that I felt like I was speaking with a close friend. Tbh, I didn't like that feeling. Then a thought occurred to me: "Would I rather talk to it next time than a human?"😐 In contrast to humans, AI lacks imagination, as you mentioned, and intuition. And, I assume, it is incapable of making emotional connections, which are crucial to human life.

звучит странно, согласна, но если есть результат... сложный вопрос. 
вот,  я тоже поддержала беседу с ним в комментах одной девушки про painful feelings. 
Он так круто отвечал (это мне так показалось, конечно),  четко, здраво и реально чувствовалась поддержка от него😂...

мне однажды чат GPT помог расстаться с девушкой 😆 😆 было стремно уже грузить друзей переживаниями и я продолжила с ним, а он безотказный в том чтобы послушать одно и тоже и в итоге помог мне справится и отпустить 😆 звучит дико
