Something funny happened the other day at a local cafe. I was working on my laptop, waiting for a work call, when I overheard a couple at the next table. The guy was passionately explaining crypto to his girlfriend — something like, “If you had bought this memecoin in January, you'd be driving a Tesla by now.”

I couldn’t help but smile because I’ve been there. A friend once hyped up a coin so much that I FOMO’d in at the peak… watched it crash within a week. Classic.

Then the girl looked at him and asked, “Did you even buy it yourself?”
He paused and went, “Well, no, but—”
