Parisian football is having a phenomenal season. Everyone knows about PSG’s exploits, but next season will bring the first top-flight Parisian derby in over 40 years. You’ll read a million times today that PSG’s and Paris’ stadiums are practically across the street. Let’s also cheer for the hipster Red Star: unlike Paris, they’re not owned by France’s richest family (think Louis Vuitton, Dior, Tiffany), but they always bring style. And they get the job done on the pitch—yesterday’s draw with Caen ensured they stay up. Both Paris and Red Star clinched these results away, so proper celebrations are expected in the final round next week.
