Ipswich has created a stunning cover for the program for today’s match against Manchester United. The idea is inspired by the 20th-century British artist Laurence Lowry's painting *“Going to the Match.”* He created it in 1953, depicting Bolton Wanderers fans heading to Burnden Park, the club’s stadium at the time. Lowry became renowned as a master of industrial landscapes, portraying scenes of urban life (mostly from his hometown, Manchester). Among his works, he also created several football-themed pieces, with *“Going to the Match”* standing out as the most iconic. It remains hugely popular and beloved among English football fans.
