The ultras of Hertha Berlin paid tribute to a fan and the club’s former president, Kay Bernstein, who passed away suddenly a year ago. The banner read: “We watered your tree with our tears.” Shortly before his death, Kay planted an apple tree near the stadium – now this tree has become a symbolic monument to the former president.
