Let’s keep marveling at Raphinha—here are two more impressive stats: 1. Raphinha’s last ten Champions League games: only one without a goal or assist, and in four, he scored and assisted. 2. Right now, Raphinha’s at 12+7 in the UCL: I’ve already said he’s matched Messi and is chasing Ronaldo (UCL record: 22 goal+assist points in a season). To tie it, he needs three more contributions—or four to set a new record—with three games left (you don’t really believe in a Dortmund comeback, do you?). But he’s already broken a purely Brazilian record: yesterday’s 2+1 surpassed Roberto Firmino, making 2024/25 the most productive UCL season for a Brazilian. He’s left Kaká, Neymar, and Ronaldinho behind. Insane!
