The first project that I came across was the Neuralink company. Strangely enough, it belongs to Elon Musk. 

The company is developing technology for the exchange of information between the brain and the computer. In simple words, the ability to control various devices and interfaces with the power of thought, as well as improve your cognitive and physical abilities.

As for me, this project has a bright future. Or at least with this technology
