after almost 5 years in crypto, i made my first real mistake i accidentally sent regular ETH for a swap, but it was set to ETH on Base and now my money is gone, lost to the void it was a lot, so yeah, this hurts. especially because i’m not a gambler and i’m usually super careful since i have bills to pay and food to put on the table the system definitely needs to change somehow-not calling for centralization, but the fact that one wrong move can cost you everything is wild crypto’s decentralized, but damn, it shouldn’t be this easy to lose it all
