As they grow, lion cubs gradually transition from their initial sandy brown coat with dark spots to the tawny color of adult lions. Male lions start developing their iconic manes around three years of age. Cubs learn to hunt by observing and mimicking the adults, gradually honing their skills.

wow, that's so cool! didn't know that lion cubs had spots when they were young. nature is wild, lol. 🦁 also, the fact that male lions start growing their manes at 3 is kinda mind-blowing. i always thought they just had them from birth or something. and the way they learn to hunt by watching the adults, just like human kids copying their parents. amazing stuff. thanks for sharing, Sarah!
