Was seriously struggling a bit to get my head around the RSIC world, so now I'll share how I did it in case others can use a simple guide as well. There are many Runes projects atm. I have chosen RSIC because it's OG. Buy an RSIC METAPROTOCOL on ME: https://magiceden.io/ordinals/marketplace/rsic 1/7 🧵

/7 I looked out for floor, but you can quite often get lucky and get a rarer rune by looking at the symbol on the bottom right of the RSIC image. I waited for this one: ᛟ with a supply of just 2048. They are quite regularly near floor.

/7 Here you can find an overview regarding rarity: https://x.com/bulloftinao/status/1764581450785976828?s=20 and what it maybe does. The RSIC you bought on secondary is automatically activated on your taproot wallet address and is immediately starting producing/mining runes.

/7 You can check your mined allocation on http://ordiscan.com/ by putting in your wallet address and go to the ,,RUNES tab“. Btw, your runes allocation which you mined will stay in your wallet/address even if you sell the RSIC at a later time.

/7 Buy an RSIC BOOST on ME or inscribe an own/new one with your taproot address here: https://luminex.io/ordinals/mint?collection=rsic-boost (make sure that your address is filled under "receiver address" and make sure "METADATA" is filled with "RSIC:BOOST" (it is usually pre-filled)).

/7 Normally buying on secondary is cheaper than inscribing an own one (for me it was 0.003 in comparison to 0.007 inscribing fees). The boost you just bought or inscribed is automatically activated as well, but obviously it has to be in the same wallet where the RSIC sits.

/7 ONE boost is boosting all your RSICs in that same wallet. You would only need more than one boost when you have RSICs in different wallets. Happy mining! 🔨
