Something I like to say, "everything we think we know today will be better explained tomorrow." Of course, assuming epistemological progress is not hindered, and we don't go extinct. It's a great thought, applying critical thinking, we can begin to wonder about the progression of science, and what may be lost in it.

Another point which is very important to understand is how philosophy have contributed significantly to the advancement of science as we know it today. In fact since the ancient days science were discovered by mainly philosophers. People who used to ask the why questions and try to explain the process.
