Tried to log in to an old gmail account. Remembered my password perfectly. But it asked for a confirmation code from an old phone number I no longer have (something it never did before). No alternative recovery options.

This is why I keep shilling decentralized social recovery.

There are some limitations on Web3 as well. Like if you lost or forgot your key phrase then you won’t be able to recover it anymore. The worst scenario that happened with me is when scammer got access to my old wallet and he drained everything and until now claiming my airdrops and im getting notifications 😅.
