Quick question for the $DEGEN fam — is business class a scam or a legit flex? 🧐 Would you ever drop $5k on an 8-hour roundtrip flight? And how much should someone earn per year to justify that? Give me your very opinionated answer — no fence-sitting, top hat gang.

Scenario: 10 hour roundtrip flight.

Ticket: $5,000.
Perks: Slightly wider chair, champagne at altitude, and the ability to judge people walking past you.

Worth it? Or nah?

International Business class or Domestic First Class is the way to go for any long flight, over 4 hours. 

If the price seems high for business check what first would cost, should make you feel better. 

Also, if there is an airline that offers rewards or perks for using their credit card this is one way to help reduce the cost. You'll also receive loyalty points.
