Back in 2014, my friend Jake was obsessed with cryptocurrencies. He'd spend hours explaining Bitcoin to anyone who'd listen. We all thought he was a little nuts, but he claimed it was the future. One time, he convinced me to buy a pizza with some of his Bitcoin. At the time, it cost him 0.1 BTC, roughly $50. Fast forward to 2021, and that same 0.1 BTC was worth over $6,000! Jake's small stash of Bitcoin had grown into a small fortune. Every time we catch up, he jokes about that pizza being the most expensive meal he ever ate. Now, I'm always curious when he starts talking about the "next big thing."
