🌶️ take: social network algos incentivize and prioritize the most sensational /outrageous /polarizing / hateful/harmful/ stress inducing content algos weigh interaction above all else and sheer outrage/negative emotional response drives more interaction than any positive emotional response How do we fix it?

I feel like we all need to fix it on a personal level. If we get too fired up and engage with it, we're only making it worse.
