Hello everyone, I am currently learning English, and I would like to start reading English books. What can you recommend for a beginner?

There are a lot of books for beginners. Start from Old man and the Sea - its was my first one in English

Ordinary guy, volleyball player and music maniac.

I would give the same rating, I have never loved Hemingway, but his novels are much easier to read than Maugham or Remarque. The ideas are straight and it gives you an opportunity to get the point faster if you are non-speaker
