Parentcaster

In the first year of my kid’s life I did my best to stay as prolific and active with my art practice as I was in the years before becoming a parent. But now, as they are almost two, I have slowed down considerably. Somehow it took a year or so for me to understand what it takes to have a healthy and balanced life as a parent and an artist. Slowly scaffolding and integrating new routines and patterns into my life. And one day I’m sure I’ll be just as active again but holy shit, I am accumulatively tired.
